Thanks for taking an interest in Until the World Ends Card Game. The game was designed to spark conversation based on real world trends. It was conceived in 2020 and perfected by 2022. This is our first small run of the game, so it is truly a rare item! These decks are part of the original run of 20 decks (10 original and 10 expansions).
Until The World Ends currently has two decks available for our friends at Feisty Goblin! The "Origin" deck is the original game, which can be expanded by the "Zombie" expansion deck, but you can play either game without the other, or combine them for a more complex experience.
The game comes with a fold-out instruction booklet and is fun for 2-5 players, or with additional decks you can play with even more people. The game is played in a series of rounds, where the first to score the highest at or exceeding 100 points wins the game. The game can be quick or long depending on the actions of the players and how the cards are drawn. While there are no obscene words, the game does deal with violent and politically-charged topics best meant for players over the age of 16. For reference, it is the equivalent of the ESRB's "Mature" rating, since it shows blood and gore and also talks about things of a suggestive or sexual nature.
I recommend playing the Origin deck first, then incorporating the Zombie deck. I have 7 other decks planned, so there will be more fun to have in the future! Each expansion can be played on its own or incorporated into other decks to expand the experience. We also will be producing short 18-card expansion-lites we call "Contracts", that flavor the game like salt and pepper. Mix and match decks for unique permutations of the original experience.
